Recent smoothies


This Plum Cilantro Smoothie was quite tasty! Its texture was similar to a thawed juice concentrate - kind of syrupy.
  • 1 peach (canned)
  • ½ c. frozen blackberries
  • 1 fresh plum, cut and peeled
  • ¼ c. So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • 4 white grape juice cubes
  • 1 cilantro cube
  • ½ tbs flax seed
  • ~ ¼ c. plain yogurt
Combine and blend!



 Pear Watermelon Smoothie - adpated from Smoothieweb

  • ~6 watermelon chunks
  • maybe ½ c. yogurt
  • maybe 1/3 c. whole milk
  • ~6 strawberries
  • 4 pear juice cubes
Combine and blend.

Sorry for the approximations - at least smoothies aren't a chemistry experiment. The watermelon was cut and frozen; it may have been the size of your average slice. The pear juice was from canned peaches.



I've obviously been making too many smoothies, because I have no specific recollection of this Orange Pear Smoothie. Hope it was good!

  • 1 medium spoonful oj concentrate 
  • ½ frozen peach
  • ~1 frozen pear
  • ½ c. So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • ~ ½ c. plain yogurt
  • ½ tbs flax

Blend!



This Orange Coconut Smoothie, however, was quite memorable and fantastic:


  • 1 frozen (canned) peach 
  • ~ 1 tbs orange juice concentrate
  • 3 medium spoonfuls plain yogurt
  • ½ tbs flax seed

Blend!

Variation: Add one cilantro cube


On one of summer's hottest days, I made this one twice and added the cilantro cube the second time.
